Our car got totaled and insurance is paying it off to our lender, but how about us?
We have Honda Civic 2006, it's in great condition before the accident. Our insurance is paying off the Honda Financial Services of the remaining $8,000 that we still owe. But in the blue book, the car is still $15,000 worth. Are they going to pay us the remaining $7,000 for us to get another car. I know they will try to give us less, but how less. They said that they will have someone check the condition of the car before the accident. It's frustrating because I feel like they are fooling us. Honda and my insurance are the one making the deal and seems like our insurance will just settle on giving us few bucks. How can we replace our car, it was almost like brand new before the accident. If they give us less the we think the total value of the car, can we sue them? Please help We are always calling the insurance person handling our claim. But my concern is that how can we guarantee that they will give us the real value of our car, because our car is low mileage and almost like new before the accident.
Do the cars we drive say more about us that our haircut.?
Eg I saw this guy Who was the size of a Nightclub door bouncer Driving a Ford ka, He looked like a right f g Even though he probably was not So my question is Do we judge people by the cars they Drive. Cheers.
